In-Line systems can be utilized in coating sheets and metal strips. In this segment, LEYBOLD OPTICS Dresden also offers individual solutions which are tailor-made to suit the particular requirements of our customers.
Modular concepts
Using a modular system is the philosophy of LEYBOLD OPTICS. Depending on the specific application this allows an optimized adaptation to throughput and substrate size. Chamber and coating tool dimensions from 500 to above 2,500 millimeters are available. Vertical, horizontal or even tilted: our systems can handle all different substrate orientations.
Various applications possible
Among other applications, sputtering systems are used to produce the front mirrors of projection TVs, car mirrors (metallic, colored or electrochrom), solar cells (TCO, metal film or SiN) or optical filters. Conducting metal layers and dielectric layers are possible with evaporation systems.
