In 2002, COMET acquired Philips Industrial X-Ray and integrated knowhow and products into their portfolio. Recent success stories include the development of High Power (HP) X-Ray tubes with two times higher X-Ray dose for equivalent focal spot size as conventional X-Ray tubes, and the start of production for a miniature X-Ray Source for hand-held applications.
