Janos Technology designs precision optical filters to meet specific customer requirements. In designing a filter, our optical designers select thin film coating types and materials for construction of the filter based upon a variety of factors including customer's spectral, dimensional, and environmental durability specifications, the wavelength range under consideration, and cost constraints. Janos optical designers can tailor spectral characteristics to meet customer needs including transmission level, transmission range, blocking density, blocking range, spectral positioning of half power wavelength, incident angle or range of angles for use, and degree of steepness for edge filter slope.
