The infrared illuminators used by the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command on the AC-130H Gunship are produced by DOS, Inc. These illuminators contain 100 semiconductor laser diode bars that are precision lensed in both the fast and slow axis to provide a very narrow output beam. The system is currently in the inventory, fully operational, and flight critical. DOS, Inc. is the maintenance and service depot for this system
