The range of materials manufactured for infrared applications covers Sodium Chloride (NaCl), Potassium Bromide (KBr), Potassium Chloride (KCl), Caesium Iodide (CsI) etc.
These are used for windows and beamsplitters for infrared spectroscopy and can be supplied from 2mm to 300mm in size. They can be supplied either as sawn blanks, fine ground blanks or with a pre-polished finish.
Applications range from pharmaceutical quality assurance to space applications.
Flexibility in manufacturing techniques ensure that a rapid service can be assured.
All grown ingots are tested for infrared absorption and scatter
