Moritex has announced new literature, available in French and English, that describes its Facial Stage DM-3 - a groundbreaking whole face skin analysis system that uses high-resolution digital camera technology and image analysis to reveal blemishes invisible to the naked eye.

The Facial Stage offers professional skin counsellors a new 21st century tool to assist them in accurately forecasting the need for skincare and provide a detailed skin analysis before problems occur. A whole face digital camera combined with customised fluorescent and UV lighting reveals oil and dirt in pores, blemishes, sun damage and more.

The Facial Stage provides controlled and repeatable fluorescent lighting that permits blemishes and wrinkles to be easily viewed, documented and tracked reliably over long periods of time. Skin colour can be easily analysed, aiding in foundation selection. The UV-A lighting reveals detailed information on sebum deposits, blemishes, pigmentation and sun damage. The number and location of deposits can be counted and tracked.

By connecting Facial Stage to a computer, proprietary image analysis software allows easy measurement of pore size, and the size and spreading of spots on your face. By changing the facial orientation images of the left and right profile can be captured allowing detection of fine wrinkles around the corners of eyes.
