Radleys Discovery Technologies (RDT), market leader in tools for parallel chemistry, have announced that they will mark the global launch of the StarFish low cost, parallel synthesis system at Pittcon 2005 in Orlando, USA (28th February - 3rd March).

Located on booth 2629, RDT's new multi-experiment heating and stirring system brings the benefits of productive parallel experimentation within a budget affordable by any laboratory. The StarFish's innovative modular design accepts round-bottomed flasks, test tubes and vials and can be used with most leading brands of hotplate stirrer. The versatile system offers the flexibility to heat and stir the contents of different vessel types simultaneously, with an optional clamping system to hold accessory glassware, such as condensers and soxhlet extractors.

Technical specialists will be available to demonstrate and answer questions on the complete RDT range of parallel chemistry tools. Additional RDT products on display will include the latest enhancements to the compact and easy-to-use Carousel 6 Place reaction station; the Carousel Work-Up Station an innovative system designed to make post synthesis work-up quick and easy, avoiding downstream bottlenecks and the GreenHouse Plus - an affordable parallel synthesiser that can accommodate 24 heated and stirred glass reactions of up to 7ml in volume.

Also featured on booth 2629 will be the Radleys Lara - a complete integrated Controlled Laboratory Reactor (CLR) system that sets new standards in flexibility and ease-of-use for affordable process automation. The innovative, modular design of Lara, adopted by a growing number of leading pharmaceutical and chemical company's provides the capabilities normally associated with much higher priced CLR's. Lara accepts a range of vessel sizes, and features powerful data acquisition and control software. The compact footprint of Lara saves valuable laboratory space and allows the unit to easily fit into a regular fume cupboard. Lara is a valuable tool proven to enhance the efficiency of your process automation.
