Barnstead Genevac has announced a technical brochure that provides a comprehensive introduction to its recently launched miVac range of affordable centrifugal concentrators for molecular biology applications.

miVac from Barnstead Genevac is a range of centrifugal concentrators optimised to remove water and organic solvents from biological samples in a variety of formats including tubes, microplates and vials. The new brochure introduces and describes the operational performance of the three concentrators, three vacuum pumps and a novel refrigerated solvent trap that make up the miVac range. Guidance is given to enable you to easily choose the most appropriate system to your workflow and typical applications. Benchmarked to provide best-of-class performance in all aspects miVac systems allow scientists working with DNA, RNA, peptides, oligonucleotides and proteins to safely and swiftly concentrate or dry their samples.
