The KC-MAR-105 is a fast response self powered accelerometer. Acceleration up to IOO,OOOG may be recorded by this unit. The signal magnitude is such that noise problems are insignificant, the readings usually being in volts rather than millivolts. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C. Very low mass means that light weight structures can be monitored without significant damping of response in most cases.
