The LMF robot is a modular vehicle for remotecontrolled intervention in dangerous environments, indoors & outdoors, including surveillance, inspection, maintenance and decommissioning in nuclear facilities. The mobile base can cross obstacle like stairs, ditches, steps... It is equipped with a heavy-duty hydraulic telemanipulator or alternatively with a dextrous telemanipulator for master/slave control with force feedback combined with a ìleft armî hydraulic telemanipulator. Control/data and video images are transmitted by an umbilical cable, or by a radio system using spread-spectrum technology. The LMF robot has 2 different transmission systems, front and back legs for enhanced stability and capable of crossing abilities. So, it is well suited for emergency response work.

The control station includes :
- one stereovisual monitor for displaying 3D video images,
- one graphic screen showing a 3D simulation of the vehicle with collision detection,
- one control desk for the mobile platform,
- one control desk for the control of the telemanipulators,
- one MA23M master arm.

OPTION
Vision : Monochrome front & rear driving cameras, monochrome stereovision camera with pan & tilt head, ajustable zoom & focus, 5 x 40 W lights.
Sensors : Temperature : -20 to 70∞C, radiation : 0.1 to 100 R/h.
Transmissions : Umbilical length : 100 m (50 m on board). External power supply, 2 video channels, 1 full duplex control/data at 256 kbit/s. Spread-spectrum (DSSS). 2 video channels, 1 full duplex control/data at 256 kbit/s.Safety 1 video channel, 1 audio channel, 1 full duplex control/data at 2400 bit/s, include max autonomous distance.
Energy Autonomous mode : 2h, Umbilical mode : no limit.
