With inconsistent surface properties ranging from lubricants to slopes and varying patterning, our LMI/Selcom™ sensors are equipped with extremely fast closed loop laser/LED intensity and camera exposure controls. This ensures maximum visibility throughout the entire production process.

Providing reliable data from surfaces with rapidly changing colour and surface properties, LMI systems can integrate high frequency response 2D and 3D profiles from surfaces, such as radial run-out, side walls and tread extrusions.

Highly accurate measurements may be taken from up to 4 laser line profile sensors with one single scan station at high resolution, depending on the application in question. This amounts to true 3D profile data with no occlusions or hidden surfaces, accurately aligned and instantly delivered on a single industry-standard Ethernet link in real time.
