The MicroSpotMonitor is the favorite tool to control and to check very small laser beam dimensions for instance used in laser micro machining. The MicroSpotMonitor measures the power density distribution at different z-positions of your beam within a few minutes. Based on these data are calculated:
Dimensions of the focused laser spot
Focus position in space and the beam propagation ratio M²
Usable for pulsed and cw laser beam sources, spot dimensions < 10 to 2000 µm
Automatic caustic determination
CCD and/ or logarithmic CMOS chip on board
Power densities to be measured: > 100 GW/cm²
Maximum Peak pulse power:> 100 kW
Pulse length: < 10 ns to cw
Trigger function, exposure 12 µs
Dynamic range 120 dB
