Advances in DPSS optical cavity designs are driving the need for highly optimized diode controllers that can not only drive diode and crystal TECs, but also optimize the relationships among system output, laser diode current, laser diode temperature and crystal temperature.

In the past, this optimization has been done manually, requiring significant time in manufacturing to measure parameters and adjust variables. VueMetrix has designed a series of controllers that support optimization routines to automate and manage multi-variable systems. The inclusion of an embedded microprocessor and optional memory allows for a wide variety of routines to optimize the manufacture and operation of your system.

The results can be a significant cost savings during manufacturing and better long-term stability of the DPSS laser. And the firmware is field upgradeable to give you the flexibility to add new features for your customers.

VueMetrix specializes in developing OEM controllers with single or multiple TEC’s and a variety of diode currents. These controllers are available as a board, a minimally packaged unit, or as a complete, CDRH compatible, stand-alone unit with a laser system key switch.
