The new laser line module developed by IMM Meßtechnologie GmbH is particularly suited for applications in the field of machine vision as it makes for uniform illumination of the images.

The laser line module with homogenous beam distribution has an aperture angle of 36° at a wave length from 650 nm to 700 nm. Due to the low aperture angle, sufficient optical energy is applied to the measuring field, which guarantees short shutter times and sharp images – criteria which are decisive for light section applications.

Depending on the reflectance of surfaces, the laser line module is available with different wave lengths, from 405 nm via 532 nm up to 950 nm, and with a performance range from 0.39 mW up to 100 mW.
