Laser tube cutting services
Alabama Laser has expanded its range of precision laser tube cutting services to include three CO2 laser systems designed for processing round, square, rectangular, flat, oval, and virtually any other type of tubing.
Our two BLM Adige LaserTube systems (models LT652 & LT712D) enable us to cut slots and holes in round tubing with diameters up to 6" and square tubing with side dimensions up 4.7". These laser systems allow storage of tube bundles and can automatically load and position tubes with lengths between 10.5 and 27.5 feet without operator intervention. Smaller tube lengths can be loaded manually.
The LaserTube's high flexibility allows it to cut almost any profile either on the end of a tube or along its length. Multiple part features, which traditionally would have required several conventional machine tools and consecutive processes, can now be carried out automatically on this single machine, using one tool in a single cycle.
These capabilities along with increased speeds and no tooling costs now make laser precision tube cutting prices competitive with those of other processes.
