Photon Systems has developed a unique family of lasers and LED sources from 200 to 300 nm. Our unique narrow-line deep ultra-violet lasers sources emit at 224.3 and 248.6 nm. They are excellent sources for native fluorescence in HPLC and CE and many other applications. Peaks in absorption curves of aromatic amino acids are orders of magnitude better at 224 than 280 nm, and yet these simple lasers are compact and can be run off of a small rechargeable battery.

Our deep UV lasers sources havehigh power but run best in a chopped mode that avoids photo-damage to the sample and prolongs laser life. These instant on, instantly stable lasers are optimized with our line of "instrument on a chip" (IOC) digital detector controllers to enable time based Raman, fluorescence and phosphorescence measurements. Our IOC controllers work with a range of photomultiplier tubes and photodiodes and provide digital waveforms or gated boxcar integrator functionality digital or analog output.

Compact Raman and fluorescence analyzers and multi-channel fluorescence detection modules enable plug and play development of your own deep UV measurement solutions.

Photon Systems' chemical sensors and waste water contamination measurement instruments are examples of these plug and play combinations that have been taken 8000 feet under the sea and all the way to Antarctica. Photon Systems provides rugged solutions for the researcher and the OEM.
