For the measurement identification of the actual axis profiles of external robot axes multiple coordinate systems alongside the moving unit will be determined using a process developed and patented by us. A software controller module was developed for the optimisation and automation of the measurement process. This application enables an interfacing of our measurement devices (Leica LTD 500 and LTD 800) with industrial robots. Thus the measurement and control of the robots can be monitored by our software "LeMeTo" and can be process fully automated. The modules are available for ABB as well as KUKA robots. Therefore you can gain advantages because of the resulting saving of time and costs.
