Leather-filled Thermoplastic Elastomer Provides Look, Feel and Smell of Leather
Goodfellow announces the addition of an innovative new product range of leather-fiber-filled thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in both film and granules as well as compacted leather fiber granules for addition to polymer compounds. The leather-filled TPE can be processed by extrusion, injection molding or calendaring, resulting in a material that looks, feels and even smells like leather. The ease of processing and robustness of TPE also make possible designs that may have been too costly or even impossible to produce with real leather.
