The X/Y kit is the easiest way to integrate a scanning head as all parts have been designed and manufactured to provide the best working conditions and, as a consequence, optimal performance in terms of speed and positioning accuracy.
The X/Y mount included in each kit also works as a heat sink for the two galvo-motors.

While the output beam is positioned at 90° respective to the input, there is no measurable beam displacement (shift of the output beam to the input optical axis).

The X/Y mirror layout is matched to a mechanical angular excursion of +/- 10°, corresponding to 40° of total optical scanning angle.

X/Y kits are delivered already tuned for the fastest small angle step response, however, when ordering, customers may ask for a custom tuning matched to their specific requirements
