Most of MARECHAL ELECTRIC products and especially Decontactors socket-outlets are equipped with a locked safety shutter ensuring no access to live parts when plug is withdrawn and lid of socket-outlet is opened (IP4X protection against ingress of solid foreign objects and access to live parts). Socket-outlet contacts are kept clean and with no access (to a 1mm diameter wire) even when the lid of the socket-outlet is opened. Only a plug electrically compatible with a socket-outlet can unlock its safety shutter.
