The PCI-DAS6013 and PCI-DAS6014 from Talisman Electronics offer very low cost (£220 and £295 respectively) 16-bit analog I/O boards that plug into any PC PCI slot. The I/O boards are compatible with National Instruments products and make an ideal choice in educational applications as well as any other price sensitive situation. Measurements of up to 16 channels at a resolution of 16 bits, (one part in 65,536) on one of 4 ranges may be taken at rates up to 200,000 samples per second. The PCI-DAS6014 offers in addition dual analog outputs of 16 bits resolution which may be updated at rates to 10 kHz per channel. Discrete digital bi-directional I/O lines (8) can control relays and solenoids, and monitor switch and contact closures. Software for professional developers, occupational developers and non-programming measurement professionals completes your system.

InstaCal installation software detects new hardware. Calibration is automated to keep your measurements accurate. Test routines verify that all the board's features are operating. Included free with every board Universal Library driver software, a complete function library to simplify the configuration and operation of your measurement board.
