The HARTING Technology group extends the product range by the introduction of the new microFX components.

The microFX range consists of active tranceivers with diagnostic function for optical data transmission up to 125MBit/s, e.g. for Industrial Ethernet, as well as the corresponding connectors for single and multimode glassfibre and plastic fibre.

Besides two optical contacts for the data transmission two electrical contacts for the power supply of devices linked by the microFX are integrated. Passive coupling units complete the component programme. In addition preassembled custom built harnesses are available.
By the use of proven M12 technology a cost effective integration of optical interfaces with a degree of protection to IP65/ IP67 is possible, especially useful for devices designed for applications in an industrial environment .
