Modular subsystems let you build an instrument to fit your needs
Wide spectral coverage; 14,000 to 350 cm-1 (700 nm to 28 µm)
High resolution; up to 0.5 cm-1 (0.02 nm at 700 nm and 0.04 µm at 28 µm)
Interchangeable beam splitters
Interchangeable detectors
MatLab® based software and Active X control
USB 2.0 Plug and play Interface
We are particularly proud of the fact that even with all this flexibility and low cost, MIR 8025™ has impressive performance: Selectable resolution starting with 0.5 cm-1
0.25 m A.U. S/N ratio*
MIRMat 8000™ - MatLab® based Software, powerful scanner control and data acquisition package
Active X control
* A.U. (Absorbance Units) measured with 80008 DTGS Detector, 80007 SiC Source, 4 cm-1 resolution, 16 co-adds.
The Components
A complete MIR 8025™ Spectrometer is made up of: Source or sample
MIR 8025™ Scanner
Beam Splitter and Windows
Detection System
Data Acquisition package (included with every MIR 8025™ Scanner)
The MIR 8025™ Scanner houses a Michelson Interferometer and electronics; pre-aligned and packaged sources, detectors and sample accessories, easily couple to the input/output ports of the Scanner.
