The Mounting Kit provides the flexibility to use the FASEKIT almost anywhere. It includes a mounting plate and fibre handler as well as a robust tripod and G-clamp for situations where no work surface is available.
The Mounting Kit is supplied in a padded bag. Each of the items in the MKIT II are also available separately.
The Fibre Handler transfer the spliced fibres from the FASE II to the HSO II, removing the need to handle the unprotected splice. It securely holds cable diameters from 250 µm to 5 mm.
The Mounting Plate attaches to both the FASE II and HSO II creating a secure splicing platform in any situation. It also has mounting points for the LCD mounting bracket and the cleaver bracket.
