LTB's MNL Nitrogen Lasers are transversally excited atmosphere (TEA) lasers, i. e. they run at slight overpressure. Pulse widths in the sub-nanosecond range are thus achieved as well as a very long lifetime without a significant decay in the output energy. The pulse widths are between 500 - 800 ps. The specified laser energy decreases after more than 60 million pulses only to 80 %.
The lasers of the MNL series are characterized by an excellent long-term stability. The pulse-to-pulse fluctuations measured over 1.2 million pulses are typ. < 4 %. This makes the laser an excellent excitation source for quantitative and long-term measurements.
OEM The Midi Nitrogen Laser is a compact, powerful nitrogen laser designed for routine applications in research and industry. It reaches peak powers of up to 200kW and is characterised by an extreme low jitter and a high stability.
High reliability The patented laser channel structure guarantees the highest efficiency and reliability with minimum electromagnetic noise.
Long lifetime The period between the necessary regenerations of the laser head is extraordinary long (3 x 108 pulses). The MNL requires minimal maintenance.
Semi-sealed or flow The MNL runs in the flow or semi-sealed mode.
As standard The laser is equipped with an optical interface, software and a 16/32 DLL interface that provides for a wide range of controlling features. A PC is required for operation.
