MODEL 7740 - Specially designed system to align aircraft frame structure for McDonnel Douglas Corporation MD-80 & MD-90 aircraft and Boeing Corporation.
The main function of the Model 7740-2M is to display alignment information based on signals received from centering detectors connected to the Model 7740-2M rear panel. Two alignment channels are displayed simultaneously. X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) axis offsets are displayed for each channel. Analog signals corresponding to the values shown on the front panel are available at a rear panel connector.

The 7740-2M has many applications in various industries such as aircraft construction, ship building, and the machine tool industry.
