Industrial vision is a technology perfectly suited to the inspection of material surface soundness.The machines inspect the outer surface of the parts (sleeves, housings, control arms, brake discs, etc.) and the inner surface (piston housings, bores, inner surface of sleeves, etc.)
The following defects are detected :
- Material soundness faults due to a part manufacturing procedure (moulding, forging, etc.) : cracking (cracks), porosity or shrinkage, blisters, lamination, etc.
- Appearance defects associated with the handling of the parts : shocks, oxidation, etc.
- Defects due to machining or boring problems on the parts : preform traces, flats, scratches, etc.
