Measurement of oxygen evolution/consumption from liquid or gas-phase samples
The OXYLAB System provides a simple and reliable method for computer controlled measurement of oxygen evolution/consumption from liquid or gas-phase samples. OXYLAB oxygen electrode control unit (including 32 bit Windows® software) is available separately or as part of a system for upgrade of older HANSATECH manual or DOS base PC controlled systems to Windows PC control and data acquisition. Its main characteristics are :
sophisticated electronics providing control of an external light source and an integral magnetic stirrer. Compatibility with all HANSATECH liquid and gas-phase oxygen electrode units. Complete system control via 32 bit Windows software. Software calibration and data analysis tools. LED Light Sources
Hansatech Instruments LED light sources provide red illumination centred on 650nm with an HBW of +/- 25nm which is automatically controlled via the OXYLAB oxygen electrode control unit. LED’s have the advantages of low heat output, rugged construction, long life, intensity adjustment without the need for optical filters and a fast rise to full intensity (milliseconds) negating the need for electronic shutters in fast fluorescence work.
The LH11/R is a probe type LED light housing containing an 11 red LED array. Suitable for use with DW2/2, LD2/3. LH11/R provides approximately 1200µmol m-2 s-1 intensity in DW2/2 reaction vessel.
The LH36/2R : high intensity light housing with 36 red LED array. Suitable for LD1/2, LD2/3 and DW3 electrode units. LH36/2R provides approximately 750µmol m-2 s-1 in LD1/2 and LD2/3 units, and 900µmol m-2 s-1 in DW3.
