THE transitube FLEXIBLE MECHANICAL FEEDERS are known by everyone in the industry and are designed particularly for conveying raw materials in either pellets, powder, mix or regrind form. The “transitube” can automatically feed injection moulding machines, extruders, blow moulding machines as well as sorts of bins and silos. It offers many advantages over the conventional systems like vacuum, rigid auger, or belt conveyor.

- THE TRANSITUBE PHENOMENON :
A special treated steel spiral is driven by an electric motor that is mounted either on the inlet or outlet of the feeder. An inner tube mounted inside the spiral stops the product from falling back down during conveying.
The speed and rotation of the spiral creates a ring of material that moves along in the tube. This is the transitube PHENOMENON.

- ADVANTAGES:
Easy installation : flexible, so it can get around obstacles, no detailed plans necessary since mounting adjustments can be made quickly.
Homogeneity of the mix even if products are of varying bulk density
Low operating cost : economic, a transitube will consume only 2kw/h for an output of 5000lt/h on a 6 meters length..
Clean : totally dust free, the conveyed products are not subject to any air born polluants..
Protection from humidity : the products are kept from re-absorbing moisture in the air, a prime concern for dried products which cannot be conveyed by pneumatic means.

APPLICATION :
TYPE PS : for pick-up from a drum, bags, transitube DS or S bins.
TYPE PC : for pick-up under silos, mixer, metering units, dryers, grinders,…..
TYPE PM : for centralized feeding of several machines.
