This unit counts down to zero from a number preset by the operator. When the count moves round to 99999 a microswitch operates to make or break a circuit. A single movement of the reset lever returns the figures to the preset number and the switch is reset to its original state.
The maximum preset number is 89999 and the microswitch is rated at 10A, 250VAC for a resistive load (3A inductive). The model shown is a top viewing basic unit; variations are available to special order. The number of digits may be reduced depending on the gearing
