The Mercury 100 is a completely new AFM system for the materials research and nanotechnology markets. It is ideally suited to the investigation of topographical structures with high-resolution along with surface properties such as local stiffness and adhesion.
All standard AFM modes are supported, assuring high flexibility throughout the full range of AFM applications. The system uses an extremely linear and precise capacitive feedback-controlled scan stage with a 100x100x20µm scan range which is capable of handling large samples.
