The Micro-Series DPSS laser is a Diode Pumped Solid State laser that is driven by a single 1W, 808nm laser diode, which pumps a proprietary solid state internal geometry. It is this proprietary technology that allows the laser to operate in an ultra-quiet mode, offering one of the lowest noise specification in the industry. Built on a single laser platform, measuring approximately the length and width of a business card, the laser can be configured to output either blue (473nm) or Green (532nm) single frequency, CW light. The internal diode has a proven lifetime and is operated below its maximum output in order to further extend its lifeThe Micro-Series package is capable of producing 50mW of 532nm and 20mW of 473nm CW light. At these power levels the Micro-Series Laser is ideally suited for applications such as florescence, confocal microscopy, digital printing, and spectroscopy.
