Due to its small design, the OEM Mini-TEC module (thermo-electric cooling) developed by IMM Meßtechnologie GmbH can easily be fitted into optical measuring systems, bioanalysis systems and inspection systems, and it is also suited for scientific applications.

The OEM Mini-TEC module consists of a separate laser-head (Ø 25 mm, length 58 mm) and a temperature control (32 x 65 x 115 mm). It is available in diverse wave lengths, from 375 nm, 405 nm and DPSS 532 nm up to 1650 nm with freely selectable performance.

The temperature regulation for the TE cooler is independent of the laser diode module. Within 1 minute after being turned on, the OEM Mini-TEC module reached the preselected temperature of the cooler. Consequently the laser diode module can be operated at a stable temperature level with a constant optical performance and a high wave length precision (e.g. for measurement data registration).

The broad range of optics and filters allows an individual adjustment of the module to the respective applications. Due to its modular design, the system is very inexpensive.
