Miniature Accelerometer: FA3022 SERIES - FGP Instrumentation
The FA3022 is a general purpose accelerometer that is especially useful for measuring very low frequencies. His small size and light weight facilitate testing where these conditions are necessary. As opposed to oil damped accelerometers, the performance of the air damped miniature accelerometer FA3022 is much less affected by temperature variations, thus providing more accurate measurements. The sensing element is fitted with a fully temperature compensated Wheatstone bridge equipped with high stability micromachined silicon strain gauges. With two lateral brackets, the FA3022 accelerometers are designed for easy mechanical mounting. As the designer and manufacturer of the FA3022, FGP Sensors have at their disposal the necessary experience for customising sensors to specific uses and testing environments. Furthermore, as part of our mission to meet the needs of our customers, FGP Sensors offer complete “turn-key” systems. We propose a range of conditioning electronics that power the sensor, amplify the electronic signal and display the data in digital format. The measurement system arrives already formatted, calibrated and ready for your immediate use.
Main features of the miniature Accelerometer FA3022 Series: - Full Scale Range from ±2 g to ±500 g - Lightweight and rugged: 4 grams - Bandwidth from DC - Built-in Critical Air Damping (~ 0.7) - Integrated Over-range Stops - Mounting Brackets
