The Model 24-600 Temperature Regulated Discharge Ionization Detector (DID) Assembly is engineered for gas standard certification at 1 - 10 ppm levels of impurity. The unit will integrate with most existing gas chromatographs or is able to be designed into any new system, i.e. process GC, replacement detector, etc.

The Model 24-600 consists of a detector assembly and a control unit.

The DID Assembly is contained within a helium purged stainless steel housing to aid in detector sensitivity and prevent contamination. The purged housing accommodates the DID, a heater with RTD, a bellows-type metering valve and sample inlet VCR connections. The DID Control Unit includes an electrometer, a high voltage power supply, a polarization power supply, a digital display for dc voltage and discharge current (mA), and a detector temperature control with digital readout.

The DID is also available in the GOW-MAC® Series 100 DID GC (Europe Only), Series 580, Series 590 and Series 816 Gas Chromatographs. The Series 100 DID or Series 580 can be custom configured for 1 - 10 ppm trace gas impurities; The Series 590 GC can be custom configured for part-per-billion ultrapure trace impurity analysis; And the Series 816 DID GC with full digital electronics can be custom configured for single digit ultrapure trace gas impurity analysis.
