The Model 337 Transducer is an extremely stable and reliable unit, which makes it ideally suited as a transducer calibration standard, or general purpose transducer, over the frequency range of 1 to 37 kHz.
In addition to its acoustic stability and reliability, the 337's small size, light weight, and oil filled construction makes it extremely versatile.
The active element of the Model 337 is composed of a line array of non-resonant EC-64 cylinders. These elements are carefully matched at assembly to ensure uniformity within each unit and each lot of transducers.
All exposed metal parts are corrosion resistant phosphorous bronze. The cable gland assembly is carefully molded to provide a breaking strength of 250 pounds. The 100 foot cable is two-conductor shielded, with a breaking strength in excess of 500 pounds
