Point Source has released a 30mW, 405 nm fiber-coupled diode laser as the latest addition to its range of iFLEX2000™ lasers. The iFLEX2000™ delivers 30 mW in a pure Gaussian TEM00 collimated beam from a single mode polarization maintaining fiber.
The laser is highly stable and reliable, whilst operating with extremely low noise (<0.1% rms) and offers the added advantage of an on-board fast TTL and full analogue modulation.
At 30mW, the iFLEX2000™ provides the highest commercially available fiber-coupled output power with the added capability of a detachable plug and play fiber for ease of installation, upgrade and field replacement.
This new power level is ideal for applications including spinning disc confocal microscopy, high throughput flow cytometry and semiconductor wafer inspection where the input light level is at a premium. Combined with the unsurpassed wave front performance available with the singlemode fiber this system is also ideal for DVD/CD mastering and optical inspection applications.
