Photonics Industries, Bohemia, New York, has just shipped the latest version of its highly successful Ti: Sapphire, High Repetition Rate, narrow linewidth Laser to a major university for atmospheric research.

Due to space constraints in an airborne aircraft, the customer’s requirement was for a rugged, ultra-compact, highly flexible, full featured Ti: Sapphire laser with 24/7 reliability.

Photonics Industries has delivered on these requirements and much more with a laser footprint of just 12.5”w x 12.5”d x 2.7/8”h, while maintaining it’s superior performance specifications. This also includes our air cooled, Model DC150-532 as the pump laser!.

Approximately the size of a laptop computer, this system is packed with fully tunable wavelength scanning, computer control of the scanning speed, and the high repetition rates that demanding applications require.

The TU-L delivers high pulse energy of more than 1mJ/pulse at 1 kHz, while our TU-H delivers high power of more than 1W at 10 kHz in the wavelength range of 700nm to 1000nm. With a multi-pass amplifier, substantially higher pulse energy/or average power can be ordered.

Our Ti: Sapphire Series of lasers can be configured in a number of customer friendly versions with several different choices for pump lasers in Nd: YAG, and Nd: YLF platforms. In addition, the complete range of tunability of Ti: Sapphire can be extended from 193-500nm and 700-1000nm with full computer control of the scanning range in the wavelength range.

These systems can be integrated with cutting-edge optional features such as Single Longitudinal Mode (SLM), Multi-Pass Amplifier, and second (2nd), third (3rd), and/or fourth (4th) harmonic AutoTracking while the fundamental wavelength is scanning.

No other laser company can offer this superior combination of top performance tunable Ti: Sapphire (patented) in a compact, feature rich, user- friendly system.

Various applications of our Ti: Sapphire Laser include LIDAR, OH reticules concentration measurement, Lithography Alignment, Mass Spectroscopy, RAMAN Spectroscopy, and many others.
