3SOFT has extensive experience in developing navigation solutions. The launch of 3SOFT´s application software for the first off-board navigation system on the market was a milestone in the year 2000. With this type of navigation system the actual routing does not take place in the car. The map data are not provided on CD or DVD but stored on a central server connected with the system via mobile phone network. The server always provides the latest map data and up-to-date traffic reports, which also influence route calculation.
