The Wavelength Conversion Module enables the Netstender™ to fit seamlessly into existing service provider networks by supplying economical connection and conversion of any optical interface (850nm, 1310nm, CWDM, DWDM) to any wavelength on the ITU wavelength grid (CWDM, DWDM) with optional 3R regenerationBoth versions come with loopback capabilities to enable carrier demarcation where required. Wavelength Conversion Modules can be equipped in any universal Netstender™ 1030 or 2060 slot. They can be matched with a combination of Netstender™ amplification, signal conditioning, multiplexing and management modules to meet a wide range of network applications.

Both Wavelength Translator and Wavelength Regenerator Modules are equipped with SFP pluggable optics for seamless upgrades and low cost maintenance. Up to four SFPs are provided on each module for four unidirectional or two bi-directional links. Modules are available in pre-configured Wavelength Conversion Kits selected to meet application needs
