Active Switch and Sensor has released a new range of single-in-line (SIL) Reed Relays. The 700 range offers epoxy moulded construction. The 711 range has a switch rating of 10VA,100Vdc,0.3A whilst the 712/713 has increased switch ratings up to 50VA,300Vac,0.5A.

For improved voltage breakdown the 714 relays will switch 1.0A,350Vdc/300Vac. with breakdown voltage of 1000Vdc across contacts and 2500Vdc contacts to coil. A 703 Form C-SPDT version and mercury wetted contact relays are also available. The 703 and 711 series have a body size of 25mm long x 7.5mm wide x 9.5mm high. The 712, 713 and 714 ranges have a slightly larger body, 28mm x 7.6mm x 10.2mm. These relays are ideal for close mounting on a wide range of general applications.
