Photonic Products is pleased to announce the introduction of three new laser diodes from Sanyo. The devices offer single longitudinal and fundamental transverse mode performance with CW powers of 100mW, (DL-LS2032), and 150mW, (DL-LS2031, DL-LS2052), at a lasing wavelength of 808nm.

The wavelength, single mode and fundamental transverse performance of these diodes make them ideal excitation sources for solid-state YAG lasers; to generate 532nm "green" laser outputs. Other applications include free space communications, therapeutic medical equipment and scientific equipment.

The DL-LS2032, (100mW), is supplied in a 5.6mm package and has a low threshold current of 40mA, low operating current of 125mA and low operating voltage of 2V.

The DL-LS2031, (150mW), is supplied in a 9mm package, and has a low threshold current of 50mA, operating current of 180mA and low operating voltage of 2V.
The DL-LS2052 provides 150mW in a small 5.6mm package, which makes it a unique product at this wavelength, with low threshold and operating currents and low operating voltage.

The operating temperature of all three devices ranges from -10 degrees C to +50 degrees C, they have positive (N type) pin connections and can be supplied in three wavelength selections bands (A = 808 +/- 3nm, B = 808 +/- 5nm, C = 808 +/- 10nm).
