Precision comes automatically with the new range of Servo Controlled Linear Encoders from Solartron Metrology.

This range offers very high accuracy, coupled with control over, approach & retract speeds, position and measuring force. The ability of the encoders to resolve to 0.05 micron with an accuracy of <1.0 micron over 100mm make them ideal for use in automatic precision measuring systems.

Used with Solartron’s well proven and cost effective ‘Orbit’ network system, a combination of up to 62 channels of I/O modules, servo drivers, sensors and encoders from a single control card (or 31 channels using a RS232 module) is possible.

Also available is a programmable bench top, digital read-out incorporating the Servo Controller, I/O’s and RS232 Output.
