Twelve months ago Prior Scientific launched the ProScan H117 Flat Top Scanning Stage for inverted microscopes. Recently two new models of H117 have been launched that are compatible with the Zeiss AxioVert 200 and Leica DMIRB/DMI6000B. The H117 now fits inverted research microscopes from all of the major microscope manufacturers. This design of motorised scanning stage has proved immensely popular with system integrators and end users alike. When asked why, Priors’ Product Manager, Gavin Mills commented that “The H117 is a stage that was designed after extensive consultation with research scientists and incorporates their most desired features. We have made no compromises, unlike some other products it is not a stage designed for upright instruments turned upside down to fit! The totally flat top surface ensures that the stage is compatible with all popular micromanipulators and incubation chambers making it particularly convenient for live cell research. This coupled with unsurpassed performance makes it the right choice for advanced imaging applications such as confocal microscopy and deconvolution.”
