NEW XYZ DISPENSING SYSTEMS, PROGRAMMED WITH PALM™ HANDHELD, COMBINE EASY SETUP WITH EXCEPTIONAL ACCURACY

EFD® announces the new Ultra TT Automation Series—a breakthrough in XYZ dispensing technology that brings a new level of accuracy and convenience to automated tabletop assembly processes.

For the first time, benchtop bonding, gasketing and filling operations can be programmed quickly and easily with a Palm™ handheld. Intuitive GUI (graphic user interface) software provides exceptional control of positioning and dispensing parameters, and makes setup much faster than standard XYZ systems that use teaching pendants with menu-driven software.

For manufacturers, the compact Ultra TT Series’ easy, accurate programming—combined with closed-loop servo controls and powerful drive motors for fast, precise positioning of the dispensing tip—means higher productivity, greater process consistency, and less scrap and rework.

The new Ultra TT automation systems are available with either 325mm x 325mm or 525mm x 525mm work envelopes, and are fully compatible with EFD’s wide range of precision dispense valves and syringe reservoirs. Factory-designed mounting brackets are available for each valve style and syringe size, which further shortens setup time by eliminating the need to fabricate custom hardware.
