JENOPTIK Laserdiode GmbH (JOLD) has introduced  a new passively cooled fiber-coupled diode laser with a significantly higher brightness and a substantial reduced volume than the preview fiber-coupled diode lasers.
The new fiber-coupled diode laser is very small, compact and powerful with up to 30 W from the fiber featuring core diameters between 0.1 and 0.4 mm (NA 0.22). The standard wavelengths are 808, 915, 938 and 976 nm. Additional diode laser offers a temperatur sensor at the housing and an optical fiber as pigtail and a SMA connector with pluggable fiber respectively.
The high-brightness fiber-coupled diode laser is opening up new fields of applications in direct materials processing and pumping of solid state lasers and fiber lasers as well as in medical applications.
The high-power diode lasers from JOLD are reowned on the market for their excellent quality, long lifetime and high reliability. As a matter of course, the new fiber-coupled diode laser also satisfies the excellent quality standard of the company.
