As part of the company’s commitment to innovation, Point Source Ltd. have added a 375nm UV direct beam laser to their product portfolio. The laser offers:
• 375nm output at 8mW
• High quality circularised beam profile with M2 1.2
• >-25dB linear polarisation
• TEM00
• Low optical noise performance
• Analogue and TTL modulation to 1MHz
• Calibrated linear power control for the continuous wave versions
• Long term thermal and mechanical stability
• High beam pointing stability

The laser maintains a small footprint in common with the iFLEX2000 range where all the control electronics are integral to the laser head thus providing a completely turnkey UV laser source.

Typical applications include high resolution wafer inspection in semiconductor fabrication processes and excitation of Hoechst and Calcium Blue dyes in life sciences instrumentation.
