More and more frequently, parts may be manufactured in one spot and assembled at another place, possibly a very remote location. When such is the case, the cost induced by bad quality may reach high levels.

This is what happens in automotive mechanics with engines, gear box casings etc. The hole may be tapped in a place and assembled in a remote location. More distance makes any problem a serious one. Thus, defects have to be avoided.

The problem is now, how to inspect each and every tapped hole with sufficient speed and reliability?

Today for the first time you can have a robot perform the inspection of every tapping at the required rate!

Tarodo is a new device intended for checking the inner tappings of tapped holes. No intrusion needed. Tarodo reads on the fly the count of tapped threads in the hole.
 
Tarodo ships under two versions: the manual version and the automatic version.

The automatic version is intended for installing on a manufacturing facility - typically for a 100% inspection. Tarodo/automatic will be installed, either in a fixed location or at the end of a robot's arm, which allows to program systematic inspection of a whole set of holes.

You may want to consider this system if you need to:
• Check in seconds the actual count of tapped threads in an inner tapping.
• Inspect automatically every tapped hole that you are producing.
