OpTest™ is the control software of a complete optical test system. Several system configurations are possible using the following components:

Point Sources
Optikos point sources create the reference object that is used as the impulse function for MTF/LSF measurements in both spatial and spectral content. Three lamp types are available for ultraviolet, visible and infrared testing.

Image Analyzers
Optikos image analyzers acquire the image formed by the optical system under test. Optikos produces two types of image analyzers - video acquisition and scanning.

Image Analyzer Mounts
Optikos image analyzer mounts position the image analyzer at the image plane of the lens under test. They are composed of three stages that move in three linear translations.

Collimators
Optikos collimators are used to to make the point source appear to the system under test as if it is at infinity.

Finite Conjugate Platforms
Optikos finite conjugate platforms are used to position a point source assemblies at a finite object distance for testing optical systems designed for finite conjugate ratios.

Beam Steering Components
Optikos beam steering components are used to direct a collimated beam of light into or out from a lens under test. The components required are a rotary stage, a mounted mirror, and optionally, a low resolution translation stage.

Lens Platforms
Optikos lens platforms are stepper motor driven rotary platforms used to steer the lens and image analyzer in a collimated beam to allow for off-axis testing of one infinite conjugate and afocal optical systems.
