Optarius introduces New Dichroic Mirrors

PRINT
BACK

Optarius is pleased to introduce its new range of custom Dichroic Mirrors.

There are many reasons why it may be necessary to separate or combine constituent parts of an optical beam according to wavelength. Examples are: input of pump radiation and output of laser emission, observation of fluorescence with input of excitation wavelength, separation of harmonics and frequency doubled outputs, combination of pointing and main beam lasers and for use in optical parametric oscillators.

In these situations, a plate dichroic mirror or beamsplitter is the best solution. These mirrors consist of a dielectric coating on a precision glass or fused silica substrate. They have a very sharp long-pass or short-pass cut at a specific wavelength and can be used to separate lines as close as 80nm anywhere in the UV-VIS-NIR spectral range (200nm to 2000nm).

These products are part of an expanded line of Optics for Lasers. The product line includes turning mirrors, cavity mirrors, Brewster windows and polarizing optics.

Optarius will be exhibiting dichroic mirrors at Photonics Europe in Strasbourg, France
(26-30 April, 2004) Stand 302
